The Village curriculum is an 8 session class which meets once a week for 8 weeks for the baby and parent or caregiver In class, learn hot to stimulate your child's learning through vocal play, object exploration, and creative movement.
We'll provide you with more tools to continue the enrichment each week through our At Home Materials.
: Fiddle-dee-dee
Age 18 months to 3 years old
is a 15 week class which meets once a week for toddlers. This class series introduces your child to a musical world filled with singing, imitation sounds, rhyming, sound identification, instrument exploration and creative movement.
With your help, your toddler can continue learning at home by working with the At Home Materials - all designed to help your child improve confidence, self control and communication skills.
Age: 3 1/2 - 4 years old
is a 15 week class which meets once a week. Now here is where your child will teach you a few things.
Kindermusik Imagine That! pairs music with expressive language, storytelling, peer interaction, movement and pretend play. With all this interaction, your child will further expand his cognitive and literacy skills as well as creativity and individuality. The learning continues through the At Home Materials as well.
No two Imagine That! classes are ever the same! Class activities grow and change based on children's active participation. By creating an environment in which children contribute ideas, express opinions and offer personal preferences, Imagine That! nurtures development and learning while recognizing that individual differences are not only acknowledged but treasured.
Ages 5, 6 & 7
is a 15 week class which meets once a week. Kindermusik for the Young Child continues the musical journey with a pressure-free approach that includes exposure to various types of multicultural music. Here, your child can explore vocal development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols, and authentic pre-keyboard, stringed, and wind instruments.
“Take-home” books, instruments and CDs from class let you take learning with you wherever you go. All while strengthening the emotional bond between you and your child.
With the At Home Materials, your child will not only find out what a recorder is, he or she will learn to play it.
Family Time:
Moovin' & Groovin'
This 10 week class meets once a week for 45 minutes and features a new curriculum, created by Kindermusik, is designed to apply musical and developmental learning in a multi-age, multi-child, family environment. The program is created exclusively for Kindermusik by a team of music and child development experts. In a "one room schoolhouse" environment, Family Time helps children development musical skills, as well as the social skills necessary to share, take turns, and strengthen the emotional bond among family members.
Kindermusik and a Foundation of Learning
Effective communication between Adult and Baby can be
encouraged through touch, eye contact, vocalization, and listening - all part of
the greeting ritual as we start each Kindermusik class together.
